  1. (transitive) To find time or other resources for.
    My appointment book is pretty full, but I can just squeeze you in.
    I found a time to squeeze in a meeting with you.
    I squeezed the meeting in.
  2. (intransitive) To pack tightly together.
    We don't have much room in this car, so everyone will have to squeeze in.
  3. To force in, stretch something to make something larger fit.
    My son was able to squeeze in the tight crawl space to retrieve the cat.

Usage notes

  • In the transitive sense, a pronoun serving as object must come between the verb and "in". A noun can appear in the same position or after the "in".
