- (usually with till) to (suddenly) twitch, to flinch, to startle
- Han spratt till när monstret hoppade fram
- He flinched when the monster jumped out
- (impersonal verb, with i) to twitch (sometimes figuratively), to be full of energy and vitality
- Det spritter i benen. Jag vill ut och springa.
- "It's twitching in my legs" (My legs are tingling with energy). I want to go for a run.
- Det spritter i dammen
- "It's twitching in the pond" (There's lively fish in the pond)
