     Kampen for norsk kvinnefotball kan sies å starte omkring 1960. Om jenter var å se på løkka sammen med gutta i 1930-åra, og småjenter på 1960-tallet kunne spille på guttas klubblag, var det stadig ikke noe for voksne kvinner flest.

     The campaign for women's football in Norway can be said to have started around 1960. Even though girls were to be seen on the field together with the boys in the 1930s, and little girls in the 1960s could play in the boys' club team, there was still hardly anything for grown women.
