- This silkworm was found in 1985 in Shiquan County. It is 2.2 inches long, with a nine-jointed body. Its head is raised as if it were spinning silk. Shiquan County being a major producer, the silk industry prospered during the Han dynasty, and gilding techniques were also developed.
