- Only used in the sense "before the current one", otherwise other expressions are used:
- an t-seachdain seo chaidh - last week (= that before the current one)
- an t-seachdain mu dheireadh den mìos - the last week of the month
- In some cases there are special expressions (similarly to English "yesterday" rather than "last day"):
- an-uiridh - last year (= that before the current one)
- a-raoir - last night
