The existence and function is uncertain according to Clauson. Possibly "emphatic".
Suffix
*-d
- Deverbal suffix; creates a new verb from a verb.
- *ko- (“to put”) + *-d → *kod- (“same meaning”)
- *to- (“to be full”) + *-d → *tod- (“same meaning”)
- *kǖ- (“to wait”) + *-d → *kǖd- (“same meaning”)
- *ï̄- (“to send”) + *-d → *ï̄d- (“same meaning”)
- *sī- (“to urinate”) + *-d → *sīd- (“same meaning”)
Usage notes
- The new verb has the same meaning as original root.
