< Reconstruction:Proto-Nakh
Reconstruction:Proto-Nakh/ṭaliḳ
Proto-Nakh
Etymology
From earlier *ṭal + *-iḳ.
Reconstruction notes
The Chechen and Ingush forms of the пӀелг are independent contamination with the Russian form of the па́лец (pálec, “finger”). In the Bats form, perhaps by analogy, the phoneme l has changed to r.
Noun
*ṭaliḳ
- finger or toe
