Proto-Balto-Slavic
Etymology
From Proto-Indo-European *h₃ew-[1], cognate with Latin *uo.
Alternatively reconstructed as *h₂ewH- by LIV, but (as pointed by Dersen) root-final laryngeal is incompatible with the Balto-Slavic accentuation.
Verb
*áutei[1][2][3]
- to put on (footware)
Inflection
Fixed accent.
This verb needs an inflection-table template.
