Borrowed from Arabic رَمَانِيّ (ramāniyy), رَحْمَانِيّ (raḥmāniyy), رَهْمَانِيّ (rahmāniyy), رَهْمَانَج (rahmānaj), رَهْنَامَج (rahnāmaj), رَاهْنَامَج (rāhnāmaj, “pilot guide, handbook showing the sailing way, periplus”), from Middle Persian [Term?] (/rāhnāmag/, literally “way-book”) whence Persian رهنامه (rahnâme), راهنامه (râhnâme).
