From Proto-Albanian *a/N(e)dri, from Proto-Indo-European *mé-ǵʰ(s)ri (locative) from *me (“with”). Cognate to Ancient Greek μέχρι (mékhri)[1], Old Armenian մերձ (merj), and doublet of me as well related to dorë.
