Etymology
From Navajo naaltsoos (“book”) + áyiilaa (“he made it”). The name is due to a misunderstanding where the Navajo phrase for "a book written by" was interpreted as an author’s name.[1] The books’ covers bear the words Brian Wildsmith Naaltsoos Áyiilaa, meaning "a book by Brian Wildsmith."
