- (among cryptic crossword enthusiasts) Part of a cryptic crossword clue indicating that the letters of another word or phrase in the clue should be anagrammed.

- This is really good. Esp. the beard clue, and 2D, except I don't see the purpose of the scare quotes around 'fantastic' -- there must be a better anagrind for this -- diabolical? weird?
