   ‎sterben (“to die”) + ‎-lich → ‎sterblich (“that dies, mortal”)

3. Used to form adjectives from nouns, to indicate "affiliation".

   ‎Abenteuer (“adventure”) + ‎-lich → ‎abenteuerlich (“associated with adventure, adventurous”)
