-iliardo
Esperanto
Suffix
-iliardo
- Used with a cardinal number to indicate numbers greater than a million. Specifically, it indicates the number 106x+3 (where x is the cardinal number), and it corresponds with similar usage in the German language.
- duiliardo - thousand billion (1015)
- triiliardo - thousand trillion (1021)
Usage notes
- Only works with cardinal numbers two (du) and greater. For 109, see miliardo.
- This suffix usage is proposed by the most recent version of the PIV, but is not considered official.
- mil may be instead used with the -iliono suffix: mil duilionoj, mil triilionoj.
