• This sign may be made with two hands. If so, the nondominant hand is on the nondominant side of the forehead and mirrors the dominant hand.

Etymology

Presumably illustrative of the horns of a devil.

Production

• This one-handed ASL sign is produced as follows:
  1. Posture the dominant hand in the “3” shape at the dominant side of the forehead, near the temple, palm facing forward.
  2. Repeatedly flex and release the index finger and middle finger, alternating between the “3” and “bent 3” shapes.
