The wrathful deity Acala (Sanskrit: अचल), Acalanātha (Sanskrit: अचलनाथ), or Fudō Myōō (Japanese: 不動明王) of Vajrayana and East Asian Buddhism is frequently depicted wielding a sword wreathed in flames as well as a noose or pāśa.
