fapt
Romanian
Etymology
From Latin factum. Was once also the past participle of the verb face (“to do, make”), replaced by făcut after the 16th century through analogy with other -e ending third-conjugation verbs (i.e. cere > cerut, trece > trecut). Compare Italian fatto, French fait, Spanish hecho.
