Etymology
An adaptation of the Latin Ephraimītēs, Ephraimīta, from the Ancient Greek Ἐφραιμῑ́tης (Ephraimī́tēs), from Ἐφραίμ (Ephraím, “Ephraim”) + -ῑ́tης (-ī́tēs, “one connected to”, “a member of”). Equivalent to Ephraim + -ite.
