- (verb-forming suffix) A frequentative suffix added to a monosyllable verb to form a new verb to express the frequent repetition of an action.
- vág (“to cut”) → vagdos (“to cut up, chop”)

- Harmonic variants:
- -dos is added to back vowel verbs
- -des is added to unrounded front vowel verbs
- -dös is added to rounded front vowel verbs
