- The major compounds of turpentine oil were alpha-pinene, beta-pinene, limonene and longifolene, and the major compounds of rosin were palustric acid, neoabietic acid, abietic acid, pimaric acid, dehydroabietic acid, isopimaric acid and sandaracopimaric acid in masson pines, which were consistent with the results from previous studies [27 ,28 ].
