From Proto-Celtic *kʷākʷos, cognate with Middle Welsh pawb (modern Welsh pob); from Proto-Indo-European *kʷeh₂-kʷo-, cognate with Old Church Slavonic какъ (kakŭ, “what kind of”), Lithuanian kõks (“what kind of”).
